Our client is a professional accountancy firm based in Central London, conveniently located close to Charing Cross Station. The firm provides a comprehensive range of accounting, tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and business advisory services to individuals, SMEs, and international businesses across a variety of sectors.Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join its expanding team.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing statutory accounts and management accounts for a portfolio of clients.Preparing and submitting VAT returns.Assisting with corporation tax, personal tax, and self-assessment tax returns.Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and performing bank reconciliations.Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.Liaising directly with clients to obtain financial information and provide support.Assisting with year-end accounts preparation and audit support where required.Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations.Using accounting software such as Freeagent, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and other relevant systems.Supporting senior accountants and managers with client assignments and advisory work.RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience working within a UK accountancy practice.UK ACCA/AAT qualified accountant, or equivalent.Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles, VAT, and taxation.Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.Proficiency in ..... full job details .....
