Accountant

Accountant - Wilmslow - Permanent - up to 50,000 DOE Our client are a reputable and trusted provider in their field. You will be joining a team of 6, responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role will see you working either full time or 4 days a week. Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting Completing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns Liaising with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries Maintaining accurate financial records and using accounting software Supporting senior team members on audits Managing a high volume of client accounts, building strong relationships About you: Ideally part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or qualified by experience) Previous experience within an accountancy practice is preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles and software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication skills and ability to build client relationships Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a growing business.
