We are delighted to be partnered with our successful and professional client as they seek to recruit a full time accountant to join their team at their offices in Hassocks. This role is a office based full time (Mon-Fri 9-5) position. Some background within practice is highly advantageous. Excellent opportunity to join a very successful business.AccountantFull time permanent role35 hours per week, Monday-Friday Role based in Hassocks with plenty of free parking for staff nearby.Salary - £40000-£50000 per year - Good company benefits, including an excellent pension scheme.The role - Accountant You will play a key role within a professional and dynamic working environment.You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks to support clients.Duties will include:Accounts preparation to CT600 levelVAT preparation using various software systemsPersonal Tax preparationCommunication of tax liabilities to clients via telephone, email or in personBe responsible for meeting deadlines and filing returnsClear communication of information with external bodiesProvide general advice to clients as requiredExperience, competencies and knowledge requiredOffice basedICAEW or ACA qualified - ideally with some practice experienceProven experience in an Accountancy role, to include VAT, CT600 and Personal TaxComputer skills including Iris, Xero, Excel and SageExcellent communication skills, ability to work autonomously and as a team memberAbility to multi-task, prioritise work and manage time ..... full job details .....
