We are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a supportive business based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional who is either fully qualified or nearing completion of their professional qualification and looking to take the next step in their career.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting business decision-making across the organisation.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Producing variance analysis and financial commentary for senior management
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes
• Identifying trends in expenditure and supporting cost control initiatives
• Supporting operational teams with financial insight and reporting
• Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting where required
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes and systems

About you:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive approach with a desire to add value to the business
