Our client is a leading fresh produce supplier and a progressive, forward-thinking business supplying a range of products for the wholesale and food service markets, directly from their own farms. The Role

This is a newly created position for an ambitious and driven Accountant who is keen to develop professionally while gaining exposure to a wide range of finance activities. The client is open to shaping the role around the right candidate, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real impact within the business.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparation of management accounts
• Bank reconciliations and oversight of ledgers
• Reporting financial information to the Board, including preparation of board packs
• Profit, margin, and sales data analysis to support forecasting and budgeting
• Assisting with external audits
• Streamlining and automating current processes to improve efficiency
• Providing detailed financial information to support business decision-making

Required

• Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Strong systems knowledge, ideally with experience of Dynamics AX and Atlas
• Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable reviewing and improving existing processes
• Excellent communication skills, able to present financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Ambitious, eager to learn, and looking for personal development within a forward-thinking organisation
