Accountant

A well respected and growing Accountancy Practice has a new vacancy for an Accountant to join the growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a variety of clients and is looking to further develop their career in practice.

The Role

Preparing year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Managing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts.

Preparing personal and corporate tax returns.

Supporting senior staff.

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

The Person

An experienced Accountant or high-level bookkeeper looking to step up in responsibilities.

Strong technical skills and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)(Accounts production software would be an advantage).

A proactive team player with a client-focused mindset.
