Job Title: AccountantRole OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join a growing finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role is ideal for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to develop within a dynamic financial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentaryAssist in the preparation of statutory accounts in line with relevant standards (e.g., UK GAAP / IFRS)Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepanciesSupport budgeting and forecasting processesManage accounts payable and receivable functions where requiredEnsure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT returns and corporation tax supportLiaise with internal stakeholders and external auditorsMaintain and improve financial controls and processesAssist with ad hoc financial analysis and reportingKey RequirementsPart-qualified or newly qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)Minimum 4-5 years'' experience in an accounting or finance roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingProficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP, or similar)Excellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesDesirable SkillsExperience ..... full job details .....
