An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant join my clients team in their Horsforth offices on a hybrid basis.My client is a growing independent accounting firm with a fresh and innovate take on accounting. They work with a variety of clients, from local business to multi-million enterprises.Role and Responsibilities:You will be given a wide range of responsibilities and be supported to successfully develop in your career and typical duties will include:• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns• Preparation of annual and corporation accounts• Preparation of VAT returns• Handle HMRC queries and correspondence• General admin tasks as and when required• Management of client financial records and bookkeeping• Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone and email• Commit to personal professional development and share knowledge with peersRequirements: • ACA or ACCA qualified (Part Qualified will be considered)• Experience working in an accounting practice• Proficiency in financial management, accounting, and bookkeeping practices, including preparing financial statements and reconciling accounts• Knowledge of tax preparation, tax compliance, and understanding of UK tax regulations• Skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis• Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines• Strong analytical and ..... full job details .....
