About the Opportunity Apple Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time Fixed-Term Contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who is looking to join a busy and supportive finance function and contribute to the day-to-day financial operations of a successful organisation. The client is ideally seeking someone who can commence employment in early October, with interviews expected to take place next Friday. This position would particularly suit a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or a qualified-by-experience finance professional who has strong transactional accounting experience and enjoys working in a hands-on role with varied responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end processes, managing purchase ledger activities, and ensuring the accuracy of the trial balance before management accounts preparation. The organisation has recently completed a transition to Sage Intacct, a modern cloud-based accounting system.
