A modern, commercially minded boutique practice in Greater Manchester is looking for a qualified accountant to take on a varied portfolio of owner-managed and limited company clients. The firm has built a smart structure with offshore support handling much of the prep, which frees you up to focus on review, advice and building relationships with business owners. What you''ll be doing: Owning a portfolio of limited company clients from year-end accounts through to filing Reviewing corporation tax and personal tax returns, spotting and correcting issues Handling client tax queries and giving clear, practical advice in meetings Preparing management accounts and talking clients through their numbers Getting stuck into business advisory work that genuinely helps clients grow Reviewing work prepared by the offshore team to keep standards high About you: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualified (or finalist), trained in UK practice Solid grounding in corporate and personal tax, confident reviewing returns and advising clients directly Good working knowledge of VAT Strong on management accounts and making sense of performance Commercially switched-on, the ..... full job details .....
