Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Accountant to join a growing business based in Chelmsford.The is a pivotal role as you will be taking ownership of financial records across multiple group entities and ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and compliance with UK regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport management accounts, budgets, cashflow forecasting, VAT, and year-end with external accountantsMonthly balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journalsOversight of sales and purchase ledgers, invoice processing, and supplier paymentsBank reconciliations, cash collection, and working capital monitoringReview of monthly PandL and balance sheetsMaintain internal controls and support system improvementsKey Skills:You will be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or QBE with relevant work experienceExperience in a similar SME finance roleStrong Excel skills and accounting software experienceConfident with reconciliations and transactional financeOrganised, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.Please contact Agilis Search for more information. ..... full job details .....
