This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering exposure to a broad and varied client portfolio, with the chance to play an integral role within a professional and supportive practice environment.The RoleThe accountant will be responsible for servicing a mixed portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and tax returns while working closely with Portfolio Managers. The role also involves supporting junior team members and contributing to the delivery of high-quality client service across the practice.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of year-end accounts for Limited Companies, LLPs, Sole Traders and PartnershipsPreparation of Corporation Tax and personal tax returns under supervisionUse of accounting software including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Dext to process client dataPreparation and submission of VAT and CIS returnsPreparation and commentary of Management AccountsCalculation of business and personal tax using practice softwareAddressing file review points and preparation of accounts packs and client correspondenceAssisting with personal tax matters under the supervision of senior accountantsInvolvement in ad hoc duties including ..... full job details .....
