The Company Able Bridge Recruitment are exclusively working with an independent accounting firm in Edinburgh in the recruitment of a client manager/accountant on a permanent basis. Whilst one of the accountants is leaving for a period of maternity, this is a permanent opportunity. The ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to provide a varied mix of clients with accounting services. The clients range from sole traders, off-shore workers, real estate entrepreneurs, hotels to name a few. You will be responsible for a portfolio of these clients and will support them with personal and corporate tax returns, year end statutory accounts and management accounts. There is a designated bookkeeping and payroll team which you will also work closely with. On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring excellent service and building strong, robust relationships.Overseeing statutory accounts review and ensuring personal and corporate tax compliance.Identifying and capitalising on opportunities for additional client services.Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and contribute to our clients'' success.Undertaking additional duties as directed.
