Accountancy Practice Manager - Senior Accountant

We are a friendly, established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leicester, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Practice Manager to take ownership of the firm s accounts and tax compliance work. This is a key role within the practice, suited to someone who enjoys managing deadlines, ensuring work is accurate and compliant, and taking responsibility for clients from start to finish. You ll work closely with the Firm Director and play an important part in maintaining the high standards of the practice as it continues to grow. What will you be responsible for? You ll oversee the day-to-day compliance requirements for a varied portfolio of clients, including: Preparing and reviewing annual accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns Preparing personal tax returns Preparing and reviewing VAT returns Managing bookkeeping and ensuring records are accurate and up to date Monitoring filing deadlines and ensuring submissions are completed on time Reviewing work prepared by junior staff where appropriate Dealing with HMRC and Companies House queries Managing client onboarding, ..... full job details .....
