Account Practice Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Practice Manager to join our leadership team and take responsibility for a diverse client portfolio while supporting the growth of the business. This Account Practice Manager opportunity offers the chance to lead and develop a team, build strong client relationships and contribute to the commercial success of the practice. The successful Account Practice Manager will combine strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent people management and business development skills

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)-who enjoys balancing client management, team leadership and commercial growth.

You will manage your own portfolio of clients, providing expert advice and ensuring an exceptional level of service, whilst leading and mentoring a team of accounting professionals. The role would also suit someone who has experience-attracting and winning new business through networking activities, business forums, breakfast seminars and professional events.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors.
• Acting as the main point of contact for client accounts and advisory matters.
• Reviewing accounts, tax returns and financial statements.
• Leading, coaching and developing junior and senior team members.
• Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Identifying opportunities to expand existing client engagements.
• Supporting the firm''s growth strategy through networking and business development activities.
• Attending breakfast networking events, seminars and local business functions.
• Contributing to the acquisition of new clients and revenue growth

About You

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified.
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.
• Experience managing your own client portfolio.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach.
