This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of our client communications teams and deliver high calibre, multi-channel communications solutions for our blue-chip client base. This can include annual reports and reviews, sustainability reports, investor relations and employee communications, online reporting centres and wider website content and communications initiatives.

Overview of the roleOur client communication teams are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to deliver high calibre, multi-channel communications solutions for our blue-chip client base, including annual reports and reviews, sustainability reports, investor relations and employee communications, online reporting centres, website maintenance and social media campaigns.
In the Account Management teams, you will engage with senior stakeholders and develop an intimate understanding of your client’s strategy and business model, as well as a deep knowledge of best practice and market trends in financial and non-financial reporting. Over time you will have opportunities to develop your career within this growing and ambitious organisation.
The successful candidate must be comfortable communicating with clients and internal teams, have a keen eye for detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, creative flair and a desire to contribute to one of the largest and most successful professional service companies of its kind.
Responsibilities
Account management
Successfully manage the delivery of assigned mixed-media projects, taking responsibility for all deliverables
Develop an intrinsic understanding of your clients’ business model and strategy
Effectively manage each project stage
Accurately prepare all project documentation
Demonstrate real strength in identifying and managing account and project problems independently and provide effective solutions
Client relationship management
Proactively build strong client relationships with your day-to-day client contacts
Always deliver exemplary client services helping to ensure we maintain high levels of client satisfaction and continually seek ways to exceed expectations
Commercial responsibility
Work with your team leader to develop commercial awareness of Black Sun’s job costing and fee structures
Effectively manage project budgets by implementing quality assurance and financial processes
Assist in developing strategies for auditing and managing overrun costs from clients
New business and client development
Identify new business opportunities from existing clients, write client proposals and present concepts and delivery plans
Assist with the delivery of new business proposals
Research and strategic development
Support internal teams with research into best practice corporate communications
Drive understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, and trends in best practice corporate communications
Qualifications, experience and skills
Minimum 2.5 years agency or client-side experience, ideally within corporate marketing and communications
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to build trust and respect with external and internal stakeholders
High-quality service ethic and commitment to customer service excellence
Ability to manage many urgent and conflicting priorities
Strong, proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as in a team
Flexible and team-focused with a hands-on approach
A good sense of humor
