About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Account Manager to join our Events team based in Aston Clinton. This is a fast-paced role where you will be responsible for managing key client accounts, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring the seamless delivery of client projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion.
You will act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, drivers, and event crews to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Manage day-to-day communication with clients, responding to enquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Take ownership of the full client journey, from initial brief through to event delivery and post-event review.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling and upselling services.
- Schedule and lead regular client review meetings, including monthly and quarterly service reviews.
- Monitor client budgets and ensure projects are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
- Produce client reports, KPIs and performance summaries, highlighting trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Complete monthly stock reporting and ensure accurate cost reporting for finance teams.
- Create and maintain accurate records within the company's inventory and ordering systems.
- Prepare Health & Safety documentation, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
- Plan and coordinate event resources, including crew, drivers, suppliers and couriers.
- Ensure all event documentation and operational instructions are communicated clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor event activity and provide support to clients, crew members and suppliers throughout event delivery.
- Conduct post-event debriefs, documenting successes, learnings and areas for improvement.
- Identify potential operational issues early and implement proactive solutions.
- Maintain strong communication across departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support and mentor administrative staff and fellow account managers where required.
- Participate in daily team briefings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and other duties as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in Account Management, Event Management, Brand Activations, Trade Shows, Experiential Marketing, or FMCG environments.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent planning, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- Willingness to occasionally support events outside of standard office hours as part of a team rota.
- Experience planning and organising promotional or experiential event staff.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- Understanding of event logistics, including event equipment, crew coordination, power, water and drainage requirements.
- Experience within live events, exhibitions, logistics or experiential marketing sectors.
