THE OPPORTUNITY

A brand new Birmingham fulfilment business, backed by an established consumer goods group and open to customers in any sector. Join at the very start, shape how it looks after its customers, and grow with it.

THE ROLE

As the first Commercial Account Manager you will be the face of the business to its customers. It is a service led role, a farmer rather than a hunter: convert the warm leads already in the pipeline, onboard new customers brilliantly, then grow every account through excellent service, working hand in hand with the operation on site in Birmingham.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Convert warm leads. Follow up the leads provided and turn them into new fulfilment customers.

- Land the account well. Own onboarding so new customers go live smoothly.

- Grow and expand. Spot ways to do more for existing customers.

- Look after customers. Be the day to day contact, building relationships and fixing issues fast.

- Champion delivery. Work with the operation so service levels are met.

- Review and build. Run account reviews and help shape the service standards of a new business.

ABOUT YOU

- A proven account manager, ideally from fulfilment, 3PL, logistics or e-commerce.

- Service led by nature: you keep customers and grow them, rather than chasing cold sales targets.

- Commercially aware enough to convert warm leads and spot growth in existing accounts.

- Strong relationship, communication and delivery skills, at ease with customers and operational teams alike.

- Energised by a start up where you help build things from scratch, for customers in any sector.

- -32,000 to -42,000 base depending on experience, plus a bonus of around 10 to 20%.
