OVERALL SUMMARY Join our team where you will process new transactions across key accounts, optimising those relationships and building on existing business for our Transport Division in Burton. Working closely with the Sales and Customer Relations Teams, you will complete your own customer onboarding and assist the wider sales team with other new business administration and initiatives. Our ideal new team member will have relevant experience within sales and/or customer service, with a track record of building effective working relationships and capitalising on their potential opportunities. They will be highly organised with strong initiative and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers via telephone, emails, and on occasion face to face meetings. Proactively assist the Business Development team with the administration on transactions as required, including Salesforce and Originate data entry, working on proposals, generating paperwork, liaising with the customer and supplier, managing novation''s and transfers. Develop strong understanding of products offered by the company. Develop sector-specific knowledge, gathering market data and customer information. Proactively working with introducers, acting as the first point of contact on new proposals for new and existing customers.
