Account and Tax Senior

Salary: DOE Location: Gloucestershire The Opportunity Autograph Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established accountancy practice seeking an experienced Accounts and Tax Senior to join its team in Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice accountant to manage a varied client portfolio, build strong client relationships and provide a range of accounts, tax and business advisory services. You will also have the opportunity to support junior team members and contribute to the continued success of the practice. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships through regular communication and ongoing support. Prepare year-end accounts and tax computations, including adjusted profit calculations and capital allowance claims. Prepare tax returns, calculate client tax liabilities and ensure compliance with relevant deadlines. Provide accounts, tax and general business advice to clients. Support statutory and compliance submissions, including VAT and Making Tax Digital (MTD) returns. Supervise, mentor and support junior team members, assisting with workload management and professional development. Liaise directly with clients and prepare reports, emails and professional correspondence. Use accounting software, including Digita, Xero and QuickBooks, alongside Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
