Location: Cardiff City Centre Hours: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm Pay: 13.70 per hour Contract: Temporary, duration, 8 days in total. Start date: 1 September 2026 End date: 9 September 2026Role PurposeManpower is recruiting Student Welcome Hosts on behalf of our client. As a Student Welcome Host is the first point of contact for students arriving at their new accommodation. The role focuses on delivering a warm, organised, and supportive welcome experience. This includes greeting students, showing them to their rooms, answering questions, and providing additional guidance for those arriving from overseas or visiting the UK for the first time. Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Greeting and Arrival Support - Welcome students upon arrival and create a friendly, reassuring first impression.Room Orientation - Escort students to their rooms and explain essential features such as access systems, heating, laundry facilities, and WiFi.Move In Assistance - Provide light support with luggage and help students navigate the building.Information and Queries - Answer questions about the accommodation, local amenities, transport options, and building procedures.International Student Support - Offer additional guidance to overseas students, including cultural orientation, local norms, and practical advice for settling into the UK.Community Building - Help foster a welcoming environment that encourages students to feel part of the community.Issue Reporting - Report maintenance concerns or wellbeing issues to ..... full job details .....
