Main duties will include, but not be limited to: Assisting with the Budget Forecast Return (BFR) and prepare the Trust for the critical August Year-End Audit. Balance Sheet Oversight: Conduct necessary remediation on the balance sheet, focusing heavily on capitalisation, fixed assets, and balancing accounts Other finance duties as requested by the Finance Director The successful candidate will be an accomplished accountant with demonstrable experience within the Academy or wider education sector. You will possess a strong understanding of MAT accounting principles, statutory financial reporting requirements, and complex balance sheet management. In addition, you will be highly systems-literate, with the ability to translate technical and regulatory changes into clear, accessible guidance for non-finance stakeholders.
