We are currently recruiting for an Academic Mentor in Maths to join a secondary school in Newham.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong Maths background who is passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve their academic potential.The RoleAs a Maths Academic Mentor, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping students improve their mathematical knowledge, confidence and exam skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small-group Maths supportSupport students with GCSE MathsIdentify learning gaps and provide targeted interventionSupport students with exam preparation and revisionMonitor and record student progressWork closely with Maths teachers and pastoral staffDeliver Year 11 after-school intervention sessionsSupport the school''s Homework ClubAssist with Maths trips and competitionsSupport morning Maths tutor groupsAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:A strong academic background in MathsExperience supporting or tutoring secondary school studentsGood knowledge of GCSE MathsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to build positive relationships with studentsA passion for helping young people make progressInterested?If you have a strong Maths background and are interested in ..... full job details .....
