Academic Mentor

Thrive Education is seeking a motivated and reliable Academic Mentor to work full time supporting students on a 1-1 basis outside of the classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people succeed, whether that''s supporting individual students, small groups, or the whole class.

Key Responsibilities of an Academic Mentor:

• Delivering 1-1 work provided by the class teacher for students outside of the classroom-
• Provide 1-1 support to students with special needs-
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Support students'' social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Monitor and record student progress, feeding back to teaching staff
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staff to meet individual student needs

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
• A genuine passion for supporting student learning and wellbeing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, resilience, and a positive, can-do attitude
• The ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative
• Relevant qualifications
