Salary: Grade C - £35,860 to £39,429 Contract: Fixed term to 31/07/2029 Hours: 37 hours per week Location: The Union, Manchester Metropolitan University Eligibility: Eligible to work in the UK Manchester Met Students'' Union is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Academic Communities Manager to lead a new pilot project that will help students build connections through their shared academic experiences. Working with students, academic colleagues and Union teams, you''ll design and deliver innovative programmes that bring students together, foster a sense of belonging, and create opportunities for engagement beyond the classroom. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a brand-new initiative from the ground up. You''ll use insight, collaboration and creativity to develop a sustainable model that can grow and become a key part of the student experience. What you''ll do Lead the development and delivery of the Academic Communities pilot. Co-create engaging and inclusive opportunities with students. Build strong partnerships with academic colleagues and Union teams. Manage project delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement. Develop a scalable model that supports student success and belonging.
