The Role As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting and client work. Your main responsibilities will include: Prepare bookkeeping records and VAT returns for a varied portfolio of clients. Assist with the preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Prepare Self Assessment tax returns and support with other personal tax compliance work. Liaise with clients to obtain information, answer queries and provide ongoing support. Maintain accurate financial records using cloud accounting software. Support senior members of the team with ad hoc accounting assignments while ensuring all work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
