AAT Qualified Accountant

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an AAT qualified accountant to work for our client, a successful Accountancy Firm based in Huddersfield.In this role, you will cover all duties such as accounts, tax (personal tax and corporate tax) and bookkeeping. In return, this role will give you opportunity to manage your own workflow and gain client experience whilst managing your own portfolio.You will be reporting to 2 managers and will have constant, ongoing support in your role including the opportunity for further studies (further study support is provided)Key Duties:Prepare annual accounts for a dedicated portfolio of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships.Compile CT computations for Limited Companies.Prepare basic Self-Assessment Tax Returns.Act as the main point of contact for your client portfolio, fostering strong and professional client relationships.Carry out periodic bookkeeping and produce accurate management accountsQualifications and Experience:The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:Experience using Sage, Xero and CCH softwareAAT Qualified3 years+ experience working in PracticeWhat''s on offer:Salary: 27,000- 30,000 per annum37.5 hour working week - 8.30am - 5.00pmFlexible start and finish times24 days A/L and Statutory bank holidaysDiscounted car parking availableCompany PensionLots of opportunities for progression and career developmentModern, forward thinking firmStudy SupportAbout Spencer Clarke ..... full job details .....
