AAT Accounts Assistant - Practice
OverviewOur client as leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants is looking to recruit an AAT Accounts Assistant with the enthusiasm to join its busy small business accounts and VAT department.This is a varied role to primarily include bookkeeping and VAT work for clients as well as accounts and Tax Return preparation for a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies.ResponsibilitiesBookkeepingVAT ReturnsAccounts preparationPersonal and Corporation tax computationsTax Returns - Self Assessment and CompanyWorking to tight deadlinesExperience and SkillsAAT qualification or proven experience in a similar roleExcellent communication skillsExperience gained in an accountancy practiceStrong bookkeeping and accounts preparation skillsWorking knowledge of preparing Tax ReturnsGood IT skills which must include Excel and Word and either SAGE, QuickBooks or XeroOn offerCompetitive salary - depending on skills and experienceStudy SupportContributory pension and life insurance schemeFlexible working including Flexitime systemAnnual leave of 25 days, plus bank holidays (full time equivalent)Modern and friendly working environmentConvenient office location with easily accessible car parking nearby (currently free of charge)Structured CPD, training and development programmeProfessional subscriptions reimbursementEmployee Assistance ..... full job details .....
