A-Level Psychology Tutor Needed - Make a Lasting Difference Through One-to-One and Small Group Tuition

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking experienced and passionate A-Level Psychology Tutors to deliver high-quality tuition on behalf of local authorities across Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers, experienced tutors, lecturers, or psychology graduates with teaching experience who are committed to helping young people achieve their full academic potential. Many of the students you''ll support are unable to access mainstream education due to medical needs, anxiety, SEND, or other barriers, making your role invaluable in helping them continue their education and prepare for their A-Level examinations.

Tuition is delivered either one-to-one or in small groups, with sessions taking place in a variety of settings, including students'' homes, community venues, schools, or libraries, depending on each student''s individual needs.

As an A-Level Psychology Tutor, you will:

• Deliver engaging, personalised Psychology tuition to A-Level students.
• Adapt lessons to meet each learner''s individual needs and learning style.
• Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, motivation, and academic progress.
• Monitor student development and provide feedback following sessions.
• Support students in preparing for coursework, assessments, and final examinations.
• Work closely with Tradewind Recruitment and local authority teams to ensure the best outcomes for every learner.

• Experience teaching or tutoring A-Level Psychology.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is desirable but not essential for candidates with significant tutoring or teaching experience.
• A strong understanding of the A-Level Psychology curriculum and examination requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to engage and inspire students who may have experienced interruptions to their education.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Tradewind Recruitment.
• The Right to Work in the UK.
