Are you a qualified Maths Teacher with experience teaching A Level Mathematics and looking for your next teaching opportunity in Further Education?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a qualified Maths Teacher with A Level teaching experience to support an Ofsted Outstanding sixth form college in central Manchester during a period of temporary staff absence.

This is a part-time, ongoing temporary role, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics to GCSE and Year 1 A Level students within a highly regarded sixth form college.

The Role

• Teacher of Mathematics
• Teaching GCSE and Year 1 A Level Mathematics
• Monday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
• Tuesday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
• Thursday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
• Part-time, ongoing temporary position
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Location: Central Manchester

A Level Maths Teaching Experience Is Essential

The college is specifically looking for a teacher with recent experience teaching Mathematics at A Level. Candidates must also hold a recognised UK teaching qualification equivalent to QTS or QTLS.

We are keen to hear from:

• Experienced QTS Maths Teachers
• Early Career Teachers with relevant A Level teaching experience
• FE/PCET-qualified Maths Teachers
• Teachers with experience teaching both GCSE and A Level Mathematics

Please note that the college does not recognise overseas teaching qualifications or qualifications that are not equivalent to QTS or QTLS.

Requirements

To be considered for this Maths Teacher position, you will need to:

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification for secondary or post-compulsory education, such as PGCE/QTS or PCET/QTLS
• Have experience teaching Mathematics at A Level - this is essential
• Have experience teaching GCSE Mathematics
• Have the legal right to work in the UK without restrictions
• Provide a CV containing your full employment and education history, with any gaps in employment explained
• Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police clearances where applicable, and professional reference checks
