RM11 Area, Essex / East London Border Full-Time 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Start Date: ASAP / New Academic Year £28.43 per hour We are currently supporting a welcoming and ambitious Further Education setting in appointing a passionate and creative A Level Art and Design Lecturer to join their team on a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator who can engage learners, nurture artistic development, and deliver high-quality teaching that supports students in achieving their full creative potential. The Role • Deliver engaging and inspiring A Level Art and Design lessons • Support learners in developing practical, creative, and critical artistic skills • Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements • Monitor learner progress and provide targeted academic support • Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment • Encourage learner achievement, progression, and confidence The Ideal Candidate Relevant degree within Art, Design, Fine Art, Visual Arts, or a related subject area Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent desirable) Experience teaching Art and Design at KS5 / A Level / Further Education level Strong communication and classroom management skills Passion for creativity, education, and learner development Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing Opportunity to inspire aspiring artists and creatives Supportive and ..... full job details .....
