7.5ton- Class 2 Driver

Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled Class 2 and 7.5 TON- Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. This role requires a keen understanding of driving regulations and the ability to navigate various routes.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle with safely and efficiently for deliveries
• Ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules
• Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company policies
• Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency

  Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne and class 1 vehicles
• Proven experience as a commercial driver
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and driving best practices
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
