7.5T Removals Driver

The Best Connection are recruiting a 7.5T Driver on behalf of our client, a leading removals and storage company based in Newburn.

While this specific assignment is for relief cover, we have plenty of other assignments to move you onto seamlessly once this contract ends.

The Role

• Deliver and collect furniture and personal effects safely for residential and commercial clients.
• Work closely as part of a 3-man crew to ensure efficient loading and unloading.
• Load and offload goods using standard manual handling techniques, ramps, and tail lifts.
• Multi-drop removal work - efficiency, care, and accuracy are essential.
• Customer-facing role - you''ll represent both the client and The Best Connection in a professional and friendly manner.

The Candidate

• Full, clean UK 7.5T (Category C1) driving licence with valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Newly passed drivers are welcome and accepted.
• Smart appearance and excellent communication skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused.
• Physical fitness for heavy manual handling and furniture removal tasks.

Hours of Work and Pay

• Day shift - 08:00am starts with a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per shift.
• -15.00 per hour standard rate.
• -22.50 per hour overtime rate applicable after 8 hours worked daily.
