7.5T Driver
Location: Normanton, WF6 1RW
Shift Pattern: 5:30am starts Monday to Friday, typical shifts 8-10 hours.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to perm for right candidate

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding andamp; Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions

Please note this is a multidrop role where most shifts you will carry out 8 to 10 drops. Please only apply if you are comfortable doing this.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver goods to hospitals in and around the area
• Items can vary from shower trays to biochemicals (e.g. bleach, cleaning products), either palletised or in small boxes.
• Use powered pump trucks and tail lifts (training provided).
• Safely operate the vehicle and adhere to standards and safety protocols.
• Handle deliveries using tail lifts and pallet trucks where FLTs aren''t available.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• ADR preferred however not necessary
• No more than six penalty points on your driving licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network
