7.5t Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Park Royal area. We are looking for a 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday

Start Time : 09:30am

Pay Rates: -17.61 overtime Rate after 40hr is -24.99 PAYE Per Hour

Location: Park Royal NW10

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

• Deliveries and collections
• Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
• Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1)
• New pass welcome
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
