About the Role
Pertemps Maidstone seeks an experienced 7.5T Driver for ongoing temporary work in Aylesford. The role pays £15.05 per hour via PAYE, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:30, with a one-hour unpaid break. Duties include driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle for deliveries and collections, completing daily vehicle checks, reporting defects, following planned routes, and ensuring all drops are made safely and on schedule. Accurate delivery paperwork and strong customer service are essential. Candidates must hold a valid C1 licence and demonstrate reliability. This full-time contract offers immediate start, with potential for permanent placement. Prior experience in a similar driving position is required.

Duties of the 7.5T Driver
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle to complete deliveries and collections
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Following planned routes and delivery schedules
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Complying with all road transport and driver regulations
- Valid UK C1 / 7.5T Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience as a 7.5T Driver, 7.5 Tonne Driver, C1 Driver or Delivery Driver
