About the Role
A 7.5T Driver is required for temporary, full-time work based in Currie, EH14 2TF. Working Monday to Friday from 06:45 to 14:42, the role pays between £14.51 and £14.65 per hour. The driver will operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle for the bulk uplift service, collecting bulky household items such as furniture and appliances. Responsibilities include working with the crew to safely load items, following planned routes, performing daily vehicle checks, and interacting professionally with the public. Candidates need a valid UK driving licence with C1 entitlement, a CPC qualification card, a Tacho card, and experience operating larger vehicles. A strong commitment to safety standards is essential.

The 7.5T driver will:
- Driving a 7.5-ton vehicle as part of the bulk uplift service
- Collecting bulky household items (furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc.)
- Working with the crew to safely lift, load, and remove items from properties
- Following planned routes and schedules efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Interacting with the public professionally when required
- Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times
The 7.5T driver requires:
- Valid UK driving licence with C1 category
- CPC qualification card and Tacho card
- Experience operating larger vehicles
- Good health & safety awareness
- Team player with good communication skills
- Physical fitness – regular lifting and manual handling is part of the role
