This is a hands-on role where you’ll support environmental services by collecting bulky household items and helping keep local communities clean and safe. Location: EH16 4TB Hours: 4 days on / 4 days off – 06:00 to 17:02 (45-minute break) Pay: £14.51 – £16.23 per hour Duration: Temporary – ongoing work The 7.5T driver will: Driving a 7.5-ton vehicle as part of the bulk uplift service Collecting bulky household items (furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc.) Working with the crew to safely lift, load, and remove items from properties Following planned routes and schedules efficiently Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues Interacting with the public professionally when required Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times Street cleansing duties are required.
