About the Role
This 7.5T Driver role based in Currie offers full-time, temporary work with ongoing assignments. The successful candidate will operate a 7.5T vehicle as part of a bulk uplift crew, gathering bulky household goods such as furniture, appliances and mattresses from residential properties. Duties include assisting colleagues with safe lifting and loading, adhering to planned routes and schedules, performing daily vehicle inspections, and reporting defects. Professional interaction with members of the public is required. Applicants need a valid UK licence with C1 entitlement, a CPC qualification card and a Tacho card, plus experience driving larger vehicles and solid health and safety knowledge. Hours run Monday to Friday, 06.45 until 14.42, paying £14.51 to £14.65 hourly.
7.5T Driver – Bulk Uplift Crew

Hours: Monday to Friday 06.45 – 14.42 with 45 minute unpaid break
Pay: £14.51 per hour
Duration: Temporary – ongoing work
The 7.5T driver will:
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle as part of the bulk uplift service
- Collecting bulky household items (furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc.)
- Working with the crew to safely lift, load, and remove items from properties
- Following planned routes and schedules efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Interacting with the public professionally when required
- Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times
The 7.5T driver requires:
- Valid UK driving licence with C1 category
- CPC qualification card and Tacho card
- Experience operating larger vehicles
- Good health & safety awareness
- Team player with good communication skills
- Physical fitness – regular lifting and manual handling is part of the role
