Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts is recruiting a 7.5t Driver for a temporary, full-time position based in Currie. This role involves operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle as part of a bulk uplift crew, collecting bulky household items such as furniture and appliances. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 06:45 to 14:42, with a 45-minute unpaid break, paying £14.51 per hour. Hours: Monday – Friday 06.45-14.42 with 45 minute unpaid break

The 7.5T driver will:
- Drive a 7.5T vehicle as part of the bulk uplift service
- Collecting bulky household items (furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc.)
- Working with the crew to safely lift, load, and remove items from properties
- Following planned routes and schedules efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Interacting with the public professionally when required
- Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times
- Valid UK driving licence with C1 category
- CPC qualification card and Tacho card
- Experience operating larger vehicles
- Good health & safety awareness
- Team player with good communication skills
- Physical fitness – regular lifting and manual handling is part of the role
