7.5T Driver Location: BirminghamDay rate: £15.00 per hourNight rate: £16.00 per hourShift length: Approximately hoursStart times: Afternoon and evening shiftsThe Recruitment Group is currently recruiting experienced 7.5T Drivers for straightforward trunking and collection work based in Birmingham.The position mainly involves A-to-B trunking runs, followed by a reload or collection before returning to the base or client. With limited multidrop activity, this is uncomplicated driving work offering average shifts of approximately hours.Key responsibilities Completing scheduled A-to-B trunking runsCollecting or reloading goods before returning to baseFollowing planned routes and transport schedulesCarrying out vehicle checks before and after each shiftEnsuring loads are secure before travellingCompleting all required transport and collection paperworkCommunicating with the transport office regarding delays or issuesReporting vehicle defects promptlyComplying with drivers hours and Working Time regulationsMaintaining a safe and professional standard of driving The ideal candidate You will need: A valid UK Category C1 entitlementA valid Driver CPC qualificationA valid Digital Tachograph CardPrevious 7.5T commercial driving experienceA good understanding of drivers hours and tachograph regulationsThe ability to complete shifts averaging hoursAvailability for afternoon, evening or night workA reliable and professional approachAn acceptable driving record, subject to licence checks ..... full job details .....
