7.5t Driver

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated 7.5t Driver to join a reputable company in Huntingdon This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with a valid forklift licence looking to build a long-term career within a supportive and professional team.

The role offers a great balance of delivery work, warehouse duties, and forklift operation. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, team-oriented, and confident performing manual handling and vehicle checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out deliveries and collections using company vehicles
• Load and unload goods, checking against delivery documentation
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (valid licence required)
• Perform routine vehicle and forklift checks; report any defects
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles to hygiene and company standards
• Ensure compliance with driver regulations (tachographs, CPC)
• Assist with goods-in, despatch, and stock control paperwork
• Help maintain a clean and organised warehouse and yard
• Support packing, cleaning or production work when required

Skills / Experience

• Valid forklift licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Understanding of basic vehicle checks and driver compliance
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Confident and Comfortable to operate a 7.5t lorry
• CPC Card required

Salary & Hours:

£14.15 per hour

Monday to Friday 37 hours per week

Occasional overtime may be required
