Overview
We are seeking a professional 7.5t Driver to join our team. This role involves collecting recycling bins and sacks-efficiently and safely across various locations, ensuring timely service for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong driving background, preferably with experience in commercial driving and flatbed operations. Duties

• Safely operate a 7.5t lorry to collect recycling bins and sacks from designated locations
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured correctly during transit
• Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and punctuality
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements
• Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies at all times

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence with a minimum of Category C1 (7.5t) entitlement
• Valid CPC and Tacho Card
• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with delivery vehicles or flatbed lorries
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving
• Experience with loading, securing-and unloading is desirable
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and responsibly, maintaining high standards of safety and punctuality
