7.5t Delivery Driver Newcastle upon Tyne 13.30 per hour Temp to perm Mon - Fri - start time 7am Weekly pay 40+ hours per week Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to all road safety regulations. Responsibilities Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes. Qualifications Valid UK driving licence with a category C1 entitlement (7.5 tonne). Must hold CPCand Digi Card A good understanding of road safety regulations.
