7.5t Delivery Driver

We are seeking professional 7.5 tonne drivers ton drivers on behalf of our client based in Heywood. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with commercial driving experience who are organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

Hours

Mon-Fri 05.00am-finish.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne lorry across designated routes and delivery points
• Load and unload goods in accordance with safety procedures and client requirements
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time, maintaining punctuality and professionalism
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during driving operations
• Assist with securing loads on the flatbed to prevent movement during transit
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence suitable for 7.5 tonne vehicles (Category C1)
• Proven experience in commercial driving, with multi drop.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in vehicle operation
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as loading, unloading, and securing cargo
• Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes or schedules as required
