The RoleThis role reports into the PTP Assistant Manager and is key to thedelivery of the smooth transactional payments and management of our valued suppliersacross all markets.This role will suit someone who is diligent, has good communicationskills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, thrives on makinga difference in their role with a working smarter not harder mindset and worksin a methodical manner and is adept at communicating and building relationshipswith suppliers and stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

This list isprovided as an overview and is by no means exhaustive:Full ownership of personal section of the accounts payable function, from invoice processing through to paymentFocus to ensure scan and capture is in line with KPI''sBuild and maintain supplier and business stakeholder relationships by responding to queries in a timely manner.Reconcile supplier statements, handling any discrepancies through to resolution.Ensure purchase orders are approved in accordance with authorisation thresholds and timelyPrepare and process electronic transfers and payments.Monitor the ageing status of transactions in accordance with agreed KPIsMaintain multiple inboxes, monitor, sort and respond to emails received in the AP inboxesOther accounts payable tasks as directed by the PTP Assistant ManagerSkills and experience

Previous accounts payable experience is requiredExcellent numerical skills and attention to detailCompliance based mindset, with the motivation to follow ''best practice''Relationship builder with strong communication skills and solution orientatedProficient with Microsoft Excel and Oracle NetSuite would be an advantageAble to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesPret Behaviours
