7.5 Tonne Driver with Labouring Duties Larne £14.13 per hour Temporary (Initially 3 Months) 37 Hours per Week Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP We are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver with Labouring Duties based in Larne. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy operational team, providing essential environmental and community services across the borough. Please note that, due to operational requirements, occasional work outside normal hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays, may be required. Essential Criteria Valid Category C1 Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points No driving disqualifications within the past 5 years Valid Driver CPC Card Minimum of 1 year''s frequent commercial driving experience Ability to successfully complete a driving assessment Main Duties (Summary) Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and routine maintenance checks. Drive and operate allocated vehicles safely and in compliance with road traffic and transport regulations. Use analogue/digital tachographs and onboard vehicle systems. Ensure the safety of colleagues, the public and the vehicle at all times. Operate plant, tools and equipment safely and effectively. Assist with street cleansing, litter picking, waste collection, recycling and environmental maintenance duties.
