About the Role

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver based in Liverpool, you will join Parcelforce Worldwide on a full-time, temporary contract. This role involves delivering and collecting parcels across a designated route, operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and efficiently. You will work independently, managing your daily schedule to ensure timely deliveries. The position requires a strong focus on customer service, as you will be the primary point of contact for recipients. A full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement and no more than six points is essential. Previous experience driving 7.5-tonne vehicles is mandatory. The role offers a pay rate of £16.43 per hour, with hours from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, up to 35 hours weekly.

Requirements

Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
Good knowledge of Liverpool and surrounding areas.
Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.

As a 7.5 Tonne delivery driver, you’re expected to securely manage all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
