About the Role

Pertemps is recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers to operate on behalf of Parcelforce Worldwide in the Leeds area. In this full-time, flexible role, you will drive a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle on designated routes. Responsibilities include loading and unloading mail and parcels, delivering to distribution points, and performing daily vehicle checks. You must hold a full UK manual licence with category C1 entitlement and no more than six points. Previous 7.5T driving experience is essential, alongside solid knowledge of Leeds. This position offers a salary of £15.06 per hour.

Your Role

Drive a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely and responsibly on assigned routes.
Load and unload mail and parcels efficiently.
Deliver mail and parcels to distribution points and local delivery teams.
Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail professionally.

Requirements

Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
Good knowledge of Leeds and surrounding areas.
Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.
