7.5 Tonne Driver

Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking a reliable C1 Delivery Driver to join one of our valued clients based in Crawley. You will be delivering care home supplies including furniture to different locations between Norwich and Southampton. Training will be provided. However, prior experience is preferred. If you hold grandfather rights (C1), there is an opportunity to upskill by obtaining your CPC and Tachograph card. Job Specification Monday to Friday starting at 05:00 am Driving a 5Tonne vehicle care home products. Up to 10-20 deliveries depending on distance. Ensuring items are packed, protected, and secured correctly Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects Maintaining a professional and courteous manner with customers and colleagues at all times Requirements Category C1 Driving licence Valid Tacho card and CPC qualification is preferred Experience driving up to a 5-tonne vehicle Must live within 10 miles of Crawley Own transport to travel to and from work Physically fit this role involves some manual handling Comfortable driving in London traffic What We Offer Full-time, permanent position Monday to Friday working pattern no weekend shifts!
